What a quick wash leaves behind
A wash takes off the dirt you can see and leaves the damage underneath. Swirl marks stay in the clear coat. Brake dust bakes into the rims until it won't rinse off. Oxidized paint goes chalky and flat in the sun. Headlight lenses cloud over and cut the light you drive by at night.
Inside, it's the same story. Crumbs work down into the carpet, glass picks up a film on the inside face that only shows when the sun hits it, and the vents, seams and mats hold what a quick vacuum never reaches.
Detailing is the work of finding each of those problems and fixing it one at a time, instead of covering all of it with a coat of shine.
How the crew works through a vehicle
Inside, the order is vacuuming, mat cleaning, dusting, glass cleaning, polishing and sanitizing, and last, freshening so the cabin smells clean instead of perfumed. Seats and carpets get the attention, not just the surfaces you see first.
Outside starts with washing, then the correction work: wetsanding and compounding to level out swirls and oxidation, and headlight restoration to clear the lenses. Rim and hubcap polishing takes the baked-on brake dust off, and tire shining finishes the stance of the car.
Our services are completely mobile. If you can't bring the vehicle to us, the crew comes to your driveway or your yard with the same equipment.
Waxing, and keeping it that way
Wax is the last step on the paint and the first thing that wears. Hand-applied wax gives the polished surface something to shed water and road film against, so the next wash is easier and the finish lasts longer between visits.
How often a vehicle needs us depends on where it lives and how it's driven. We'll look at it, tell you what it needs, and give you a free, same-day estimate. If you want protection that lasts for years rather than months, ask about ceramic coatings.
