Absolute Detailing Concepts has been a locally owned company on Long Island’s East End since 2001, working out of Riverhead.
The owner is Joel, and he is on the job. One boat owner wrote that Joel personally oversaw the work from start to finish, then came back more than once to finish a few details he had spotted in his first walk around the boat. That is the standard the crew works to: look at the boat first, decide what it actually needs, and do not call it done while something still bothers you.
The crew is mobile. Boats get detailed where they sit, at the marina, in the yard or on stands in a driveway, so nobody has to haul a hull across town. Cars and trucks get the same treatment, whether they come to the shop or the crew comes to you.
Two seasons, one crew.
From spring on, the work is detailing. That means the full run of marine detailing: topside, hull, cabin, bilge and engine, plus weekly, bi-weekly or monthly washes for owners who want the boat to stay the way it looks after the detail. Cars and trucks get the same attention, and the crew installs ceramic coatings as certified CeramicPro installers.
When the Long Island winter comes, the same people switch to shrink wrapping. Boats of all sizes, jetskis, RVs, patio furniture and outdoor kitchens go under 7 mil or stronger film, heat-shrunk tight. It is the same hands and the same care for the work that has to survive the cold, not just look good in July.
The company is fully licensed and insured, and estimates are free. Ask for one and a representative gets back to you the same business day. You can see more of the work in the gallery, or ask for an estimate directly.

In their words
Last-minute calls and winter after winter.
“I called Joel for a last minute appointment because of a schedule issue with my boat. Not only did he accommodate my needs his crew knocked it out of the park. Didn't know my 24 year old boat could look this good. I highly recommend him and will absolutely be using their services again.”
“This company does excellent work! I have been using them for 2 years to shrink wrap my boat and they are the best!”
